This is a very successful Holsteiner Stamm (motherline). Darco needs no introduction as one of the greatest living sires in breeding. He is this years number two in the world. Concorde is likewise rated as one of the great progenitors of our time and was last years number seven globally. Calando I performed at the highest level, making the team for the Los Angeles Olympics with Karsten Huck of Germany. He also produced 14 approved sons and an amazing 176 main stud book (holst) mares.

Dallas has already been licenced for breeding with the Anglo European Studbook, and will be entitled to cover 30 mares next year, once he has started his competition career.

He has a great deal of bone, and is muscled up to the mane, you will see in the video below that he is athletic and very keen on his jumping. The video was taken only two weeks after he came out of the field for the first time. He is ridden by Francis Mas (contract rider for the Zangersheide stallions based in France), and is currently competing in the four year old classic cycle.

You don't often find a stallion with this quality of breeding. With the stallions Darco x Concorde x Calando I and the Thia motherline, he is destined to become a great jumper but, perhaps more importantly a great sire.

Description:
A heavier type of stallion out of the Darco mould. Strong in the shoulder, back and quarters. He has good bone and a superb temperament and work ethic, again passed on by his father.

Dallas is Licensed with the AES.

Performances and Results:
Dallas has just begun his jumping career in 2007. He has entered the four year old classic cycle and is twice clear in his first two classes.

On Monday 23rd April he had the last fence (rider admits error!) and Tuesday 24th April we went clear at the National Stud at Haras du Pin to give himself 3 out of 4 clear and hopefully on course for Fontainebleau.

15/16th May Dallas competed in two hunter classes at Auvers, going clear in both.

21st May Dallas was clear at the National Stud at Haras du Pin.
22nd May Dallas was clear at the National Stud at Haras du Pin.

So, he's now clear 7 from 8 with only one pole between him and a perfect score.

Dallas went to the Interregional finals 12/13th July and went clear on both days.

Dallas has now completed his qualification rounds and we are overjoyed to announce that he has qualified for the finals at Fontainebleau in August, with a record of 9 clear from 12, and over 800€ in winnings.

Dallas went to the finals at Fontainebleau. He went clear on the first day and qualified for the Grande Finale in the main arena where he went clear again and was awarded "Excellent" as his final note.
